Dr Satya Sharma MBE DL
Satya is a retired General Medical Practitioner following 36 years in NHS and 31 years as GP. He is the ex-Chairman of the Local Medical committee in Wolverhampton and an ex-member of the General Medical Practitioners’ Committee BMA representing Black Country GPs for 9 years.
He is a Fellow of the British Medical Association since 2013 and was awarded this honour for extraordinary service to the profession. He is President of Black Country division of BMA
Satya chairs the SSMF Trust and is a Patron of Inter Faith Wolverhampton.
He has established an Organ donation group in West Midlands and is keen to promote Organ Donation in all sections of Society. He was awarded MBE for services to Wolverhampton and healthcare.
Satya was awarded Global Indian excellence award by World Consulting and Research Corporation.
More recently he was involved in helping Earth Quake victims in Nepal and is following it up with sanitation project.
